Welcome to Paw Purs Place at Mile Creek Grooming for all breeds of dogs and cats. We are located beside Mile Creek Animal Hospital, in a welcoming building with professional staff that will meet your pet’s needs, in a fear free setting.
Dog grooming cost will be based on the following factors:
- Size of the dog
- Condition of the dog’s coat
- Dog’s temperament
The price of your dog’s grooming could be based on how easy or difficult and how time consuming it is to groom your dog. If your dog is difficult and requires extra individuals to help with the groom the cost for grooming could be higher. If the dog is calm and requires no extra help you will not have extra grooming charges. We can give you an estimate based on the type and size of dog but we will not know the exact price until the dog arrives and the groomer has assessed the dog.
De-Shedding
If your dog sheds a lot, this is for you!! By de-shedding your dog every one to three months, depending on the type of dog you have you will notice less loose hair around your home after a few days. This will also allow more air inside of your dog or cats coat for better insulation and comfort. Recommendation for best results is every 1-3 months. We groom all sizes and breeds. If your pet has the need for medicated bathing or special treatment we can accommodate those needs.
Puppy’s First Groom
We recommend that puppies come in for grooming at 12 weeks of age. This grooming will be a training session as well as a grooming. We want this to be a great first experience for your dog and that they love being groomed. For those dog breeds that require a regular grooming schedule should always get started on a positive grooming path. Sometimes the first groom is just a nail trim, bath and brush out. This can be a great introduction to the grooming process. Keeping your puppy on a regular grooming schedule will keep them healthy and reduce stress during the grooming process.
