We practice the highest standards of care and cleanliness for patients staying with us. We know that it takes a great deal of trust to leave your pet with someone else, so we want to assure you that we are professional, highly trained, and most of all, we love pets.

Cat Boarding:

Our feline guests have their own area that caters to the exclusive needs of cats. Natural lighting, temperature and humidity control complement our luxury kitty condos.

Day Boarding:

Day Boarding is a convenient way to make sure your pets are taken care of during the day – medication administration, potty breaks outside, feeding, love, and attention… and you can drop off and pick up the same day! This is an excellent fit for dogs that need to be cared for but aren’t comfortable in the group-play setting.

Policies and Pricing

Payment for boarding is charged to the credit card on file at the end of service. All reservations will require a credit card on file to hold and confirm the dates. However, if you should cancel for any reason, the card is charged for at least 2 nights stay . Payment for daycare services is charged on a monthly basis to the credit card on file. All grooming services must be paid at time of service.

Drop-off hours for Daycare:
Monday-Friday: 7:30 am – 9:00 am. Pick up by 5:15 pm

Drop-off hours for Boarding:
8:00 am to 4:00 pm M-F, Saturday & Sunday 9 am to 10 am by appointment

Guests are charged for the day of arrival regardless of time of Check-in.

Pick-up hours for Boarding:
Monday-Friday 9am-11am, Saturday/Sunday: 9 am to 10 am. Sunday 4-5 pm
(late checkout fee of $25 applies to Sunday pm pick up).

Pets not picked up by 11 am M-F will be automatically charged for a late checkout fee of $25. You may also pick up on Sunday between 4-5 pm with prior arrangement – late check out fee applies. We do offer after hours pickup by appointment only (based on staff availability). There is a $50 charge per pet for this service.

Holidays:
All reservations that include Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Eve through New Years Day, will require a credit card on file to hold and confirm the dates. However, if you should cancel for any reason, the card is charged for at least 2 nights stay . We are closed on the actual holiday and schedule our staff only for your animals. We do not offer pick up or drop off on those days.

Vaccination/Medical requirements: All of our canine and feline guests must have current vaccination information on file at the kennel and must be free of fleas, ticks, and parasites. Proof of current Flea/Tick and Heartworm preventative is required for boarding. Capstar and a bath will be given (at the owner’s expense) to any dogs or cats who arrive with fleas or ticks. Dogs or cats found to have parasites will be isolated from the population and a fecal sample will be taken to Mile Creek for analysis and, if needed, medication dispensed at the owner’s expense.

The following vaccinations are required for boarding, daycare, and grooming. They must have been administered by a licensed veterinarian.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept handwritten vaccination information from breeders or vaccinations purchased and given by owners.

Dog (required):

Distemper Combination (given annually or every 3 years based on age)
Rabies (compliant with Ohio Law)
Bordetella (nasal, injection, or oral within past 12 months)
Canine Influenza (within the past 12 months)
Annual Heartworm test with results
Annual Fecal test with results
Proof of purchase with quantity for heartworm prevention and flea prevention with date of last administration

Cat (required):

FRCP combination (given annually or every 3 years based on age)
Rabies (annually or compliant with Ohio Law)
Feline Leukemia and FIV test with negative results.
Annual fecal test with results
Proof of purchase with quantity for flea prevention with date of last administration

We require that your pet’s current vaccination records are documented in our system prior to setting your confirmed reservation. We suggest that you ask your veterinarian’s office to fax this information over to us. Our fax number is 419-501-2288. You may also send the records via email at pawpursplace@milecreekvet.com

Medications
We will administer your pet’s medication for a nominal charge per day. It is important that you bring all the prescribed medication/supplements/OTC medications in the original container so we know the exact drug name and dosage. This could be critical information in the unlikely event of an emergency, and we are unable to get in touch with your veterinarian.

Medical Boarding can be provided on a limited availability for pets who have mobility issues or special medical needs and need observed by medical staff. The fee for medical boarding is $50 per day. Please make your reservation for these needs far in advance as space is limited. All other surcharges apply.

Holidays:
All reservations that include Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Eve through New Years Day, will require a non-refundable deposit of $25 to hold and confirm the dates. Upon check-out, this deposit is credited to your bill. However, if you should cancel for any reason, the deposit is forfeited. We are closed on the actual holiday and schedule our staff only for your animals. We do not offer pick up or drop off on those days.
